Jo has almost 20 years’ experience of managing settings in West Sussex and a true passion for working with children in the Early Years as well as a clear desire for making a difference to the lives of young children. Jo has been working at Windmill since July 2013, and she continues to ensure all children are included and they are at the heart of every decision that is made.
Sophie

Level 6 BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies
Sophie has worked alongside children (and at Windmill!) for 9 years and gained her degree in Early Childhood in 2020. She is passionate that all children are able to access the opportunity to develop and learn, whilst ensuring that the nursery provides all the necessary tools to give the children the best start in life. She enjoys working at Windmill because knowing she has had a positive impact on a child’s day is the most rewarding job of all.

Millie joined our team in 2020 and she loves working in a degree-led nursery. Millie knows everyone at Windmill is striving for the highest quality early education and there is a passion for using the latest research into children’s development to continually work together to improve. As a team, everyone shares their knowledge and experiences in a warm, supportive environment, that is lovely to work in.

Tasha describes Windmill as such a welcoming and warm place, where the staff create a wonderful environment to work in. She finds working with children really rewarding and great fun and she loves messy play with the children.

Ellie has over a decade’s experience within childcare and joined us in 2014. She loves working with children as she finds it really rewarding watching them grow and flourish every day. She thinks it’s a real privilege to know that you’ve made a positive impact on the children’s learning and development. She also thinks she has the best job as she comes to work to play, have fun and get messy!

Kathleen has worked with children her whole career and she’s been at Windmill since 2018. She says working with children is very rewarding. She loves seeing each child grow, learn and develop and describes being part of that as very special. She enjoys the warm, welcoming atmosphere of Windmill and how the team work together.
